Coinciding with the first anniversary of Operation Cast Lead, PSC and other groups have called for a protest at the Israeli Embassy in London.

(High St Kensington Underground)
Called by: PSC, BMI, CND and STW – Supported by: Amos Trust, Communication Workers Union, Fire Brigades Union, Friends of Al Aqsa, Friends of Lebanon, Greater London UNISON, The Green Party, ICAHD UK, Jewish Socialists’ Group, Labour Friends of Palestine and the Middle East, Palestinian Return Centre, The Peace Cycle, Public and Commercial Services Union, Thompsons Solicitors.
Something rather strange – or sinister – is happening at the British Jewish newspaper, the Jewish Chronicle.
Over the past few days the Jewish Chronicle has begun to single out websites that criticize the State of Israel and its pernicious ideology, Zionism. This is rather odd, you might think, coming at a time when the world is beginning to wake up to the criminal, racist nature of the Jewish state and the fraudulent, underhand activities of its stooges and agents of influence around the world – the lies, the disinformation and the purchase of foreign politicians and media figures.
On 1 December, we wrote a post on the blog of the US-based website What Really Happened saying that the Jewish Chronicle appears to have become unhinged by an article published by the Israeli-born musician and writer Gilad Atzmon in which he viewed how Israel propagandist David Aaronovitch is whipping up British public opinion against Iran in a manner that is reminiscent of his role in advocating war on Iraq.
